A herd of safari animals is set to invade Hamilton in summer 2017 as The BIG Stampede comes to town, and we want you to join the pack!
The BIG Stampede is a Wild in Art event which will bring businesses, artists and schools together to create a spectacular world-class sculpture trail through the streets, parks and open spaces of Hamilton and the surrounding areas.
From June to August 2017, a herd of elephants, tower of giraffes, pride of lions, band of gorillas and crash of rhinos will charge into town, each individually decorated by local professional artists and schools.
The large-scale free public art event will showcase the artistic talent in the area and positively contribute to the economic, social and cultural life of the town, whilst also raising awareness and valuable funds for Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity.
At Hamilton BID we’re excited to be working in partnership with Wild in Art, the UK leader in the creation of public art events, to bring The BIG Stampede to town.
